The Kellas Stud has not arranged to have any foals in 2012. We feel that there are too many ponies being bred with no thought to their future & abhor the practice of some breeders in putting their mares in foal to prevent laminitis. This is a management problem & we believe that to put mares in foal & destroy the foals at weaning to solve such a problem is an admission of failure. The Kellas Stud will not be planning any foals for 2013 either.
 

Foals born 2011

Ricicle of Blaencwm 16187 with her filly foal, Kellas Risabella, at birth, born 6th May 2011.
Sire: Clibberswick Hammerite

Ricicle's foal at approx. 3 weeks old. She carries the crème dilution from her dam & also the mushroom gene from her sire, so should throw an interesting range of colours.
